Grades We Manufacture

There are few alloys we manufacture with different & customized profiles. Here we mention some alloys specification we manufacture.

6063 GRADE

6063 aluminum is a widely used alloy known for its excellent extrusion properties and good corrosion resistance. Here are some key features and characteristics of 6063 aluminum:

  • Good resistance to atmospheric corrosion, making it suitable for outdoor applications.
  • Can be anodized for increased protection and improved surface finish.
  • Easy to weld, cut, and machine, making it versatile for various fabrication processes.
  • Can be formed using common methods like bending and stamping.
  • Can be anodized or painted to enhance appearance and durability.
  • The smooth surface is ideal for aesthetic applications.

Common Applications

  • Architectural Elements: Used in window frames, doors, and curtain walls due to its good strength-to-weight ratio and aesthetics.
  • Furniture: Commonly found in modern furniture designs and fixtures.
  • Transportation: Used in parts for vehicles and marine applications due to its lightweight nature.
  • Electrical Applications: Suitable for making conduits and other electrical enclosures.

6061 Grade

6061 aluminum is one of the most widely used aluminum alloys, known for its versatility and good mechanical properties.

  • Contains magnesium (0.8-1.2%) and silicon (0.4-0.8%), which enhance its strength and workability.
  • Small amounts of copper, iron, manganese, chromium, and zinc.
  • Good resistance to atmospheric corrosion, though it is less resistant than some other alloys like 6063.
  • Offers good machinability, allowing for precise cutting and shaping.
  • Can be heat-treated to enhance its mechanical properties, specifically in the T6 temper, which provides optimal strength.

Common Applications

  • Structural Components: Used in beams, frames, and supports in buildings and other structures.
  • Automotive Parts: Commonly found in various automotive applications due to its strength and lightweight nature.
  • Marine Applications: Suitable for boat building and marine hardware because of its resistance to corrosion.
  • Aerospace Components: Utilized in aircraft and aerospace structures where weight and strength are critical.
  • Industrial Applications: Used in manufacturing machinery and equipment.

5083 Grade
